CDC extends eviction moratorium to July 31

The CDC has extended its temporary eviction moratorium to prevent the further spread of COVID-19 through July 31, 2021. Chief Judge Bonner entered administrative order 2020-15f.1 on April 1, 2021, which extended the moratorium in the Twelfth Circuit through June 30. The order included language that would automatically extend the expiration date of the local mandate if the CDC order was extended.

Masks, health precautions no longer required in court buildings

Updated 9:48 a.m., 7-29-2021: The Court entered Administrative Order 2021-15.2 that requires face masks for all unvaccinated individuals entering the courthouses, effective July 26, 2021.

The day we have been waiting for has finally arrived. Masks, social distancing and other health and safety protocols we have followed for the last 15 months have ended and operations in our judicial centers and other court buildings resume fully on Monday, June 21.
