The courts are an independent branch of government constitutionally entrusted with the fair and just resolution of disputes to protect the rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the United States and the State of Florida.

The Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court strives to continuously improve, to meet or exceed public expectations, and to ensure that all persons are treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect. The duty of the Twelfth Judicial Circuit Court is to attain justice for the individual and society through the rule of law, while providing equal access for all. To accomplish this, it is essential that the Twelfth Judicial Circuit maintain the independence of the Judiciary while strengthening relations with the public, the bar, and the other branches of government.

With best wishes,

Charles E. Williams
